John Halls, RIP

We were saddened to lose another of our recorder recently, John Halls who recorded Walton-on-the-Nae with his friend John Weedon.

John was Walton through and through: an ex mayor, member and supporter of the RNLI, and chairman of Walton Forum and president of Walton Royal British Legion. He was awarded an MBE for his service to the community.

John himself said he was Walton born and bred and that he always loved the area.
